While our events are a lot of fun, we do it for one reason. Everything we do, we do in order to help children. All the moneys we raise is then used to help the organizations listed below in their efforts to help our communities.
Over the years, these efforts have raised several million dollars and have helped hundreds of children live a fuller, happier and more productive life. These moneys come from the very generous donations of our sponsors, as well as through the sale of tickets to our events and the related items we offer through our on-line store.
Please take a few moments to look at their websites and view the video links below. We believe there is no more worthy cause, than to help a child in need.
A place to play. A place to feel safe. A place to giggle. A place to escape. A place to share. Mere words can't describe Camp Sunshine, because it's more than a place. It's more than a camp. It's more than a house. It's a program that offers an infusion of love, support, fun, acceptance and hope for children with cancer, and it's in full swing all year long.
Camp Sunshine is a celebration of life that helps renew the spirit of young children with cancer and their families. The children and families who attend Camp Sunshine programs realize they are not alone in their struggle with cancer.
