Lanier Partners of North Georgia is pleased to announce the Fifth Annual "Pirates of Lanier Boat Poker Run" on Lake Lanier. It will take place between July 18 and July 21, 2013.

 

This years event will be a great opportunity to help the children that are in need in our area, meet new friends, bond with your old ones and check out some of the greatest "hot rod" boats in the country.

We will be giving our cash prizes to the wining poker hands, and wonderful trophies to the "Pirate" decorated boats.

 

We have many new sponsors who are helping us out this year as well making this one of the greatest events on Lake Lanier

We want everyone to know this is not a race or timed event - it is all about fun, laughter, wonderful pirate costumes, giving to the kids, and a relaxing time for you, your family and crew.

We want to share some new information and great news with you.  This week, Lanier Partners of North Georgia was invited to participate in the "Lake Lanier Matters" Podcast.   Lake Lanier Matters is a group of folks comprised of people who love the lake and present information and exciting things of interest about Lake Lanier and the surrounding communities.  We had an opportunity to provide information about our "Pirates of Lanier" poker run and it was a fun time.  Please go to http://lakelaniermatters.com/ and listen to all of the podcasts, we are on Episode #6.
 

Another great thing happened as well.  The Honorable Governor Nathan Deal , Governor of Georgia , issued a Commendation to all of the participants of this years' "Pirates of Lanier" poker run and commended them for their assistance in helping the children in need in our area.  He also proclaimed that July 21, 2012 would be "Pirates Day".
